We've had an awesome 2016 at Sweet Events Bay Area, and for that we are very grateful! Today, before we start covering our events for 2017, we would like to share some of the new and unforgettable moments that happened at Sweet Events Bay Area in 2016. Overall, it's been a year filled with impressive experiences, new places, and wonderful people! Here are our top 5: 1) Two new companies, Northrop Grumman and Data Ensure, joined our list of Corporate Clients this year. Northrop Grumman We had two fun events with Northrop Grumman at two of the top universities located here in the Bay Area namely, Stanford University and UC Berkeley. We set-up a candy bar as a "Welcome Back To School" treat for the Engineering students at both locations. Data Ensure We created a candy station for Data Ensure's company Holiday Party at Almaden Golf & Country Club. The table was decorated with Gold and Silver with red and green colored-candy. 2) We saw an increase in requests for themed Dessert Tables. Here are some of the work we did: Star Wars Tiffany Up, Up and Away Airplane Royal Princess 3) We've been privileged to experience diverse cultures that enrich the San Francisco Bay Area. *We listened to the infectious beats that make Latin music hard to resist performed by the "La Unica" live-band at Cristian and Elizabeth's wedding; *We watched a Baraat procession, an Indian Wedding tradition, as the Groom is carried in a Sedan Chair to the reception venue by the groom's family to meet the bride's family as the festive sounds of the Dhol drum beat in the background at Sofia and Mital's wedding and adored the glorious colors of the Saris *We enjoyed wonderful flavors and spices in authentic dishes like the Sabzi (spinach) and Lentil Basmati Rice from Aghanistan, Tikki Masala from India, Mexican Soft Tacos, and delightful Persian sweets such as Baklava, Beheshti cookies, and Zaban pastries. Diego's 21st birthday was celebrated on Saturday; while Jose and Sandra's wedding celebrated the next day, Sunday. How rare is that? The place was at Dominic's in South San Francisco. Elks Lodge, Santa Clara- Outdoor Elks Lodge, Palo Alto Elks Lodge, South San Francisco We are grateful to all our clients who have placed their trust in us, and we stay committed to providing personalized and quality service to make your events that much sweeter!
