We love the rich olive green color paired with silver in this dessert table, it is such an elegant and striking color combination!
We created this dessert table for Liku's graduation party. It was Sendi, the graduate's sister, who reached out to us. She told us that she loved our work, and that she convinced her mom to have us create a dessert table for this special event- Thank you, Sendi! They wanted a dessert table filled with baked goodies. There were Madeleine chocolate-dipped cookies, sliced Vanilla pound cake, Mini cupcakes, Mini cinnamon roll bites, Lemon cupcake cookies, to name some. We also made what we called "Twix bracelets", these are medal-look-a-likes secured by ribbons with a mini Twix chocolate bar attached. We weren't surprised that the bracelets were gone by the end of the night! From the lovely, white feather centerpieces to the green wall uplights and matching olive green table linens, the room was exqusite, and the dessert table just fit right in adding to the wow factor!

We are excited to share with you the pink and gold dessert table we created for Julie + Tim's wedding at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon last July 21st. Julie told us that the overall look she wanted for the table was elegant, classy and full of variety. Check out the photos below. At the end of the night Julie told us that she loved the table, and her guests too! Hope you like it!
Yes, that's right. That's the celebrant, Evelyn, making her grand entrance in her own Cinderella-type carriage.
We were back again this weekend at the Holy Spirit Parish Center in Fremont for another Quinceañera. This time, this Cinderella-themed celebration is for Evelyn (cousin of last week's celebrant). The colors for her party were peach and gold. Evelyn wore a cascading ruffle, peach-colored, wide ball gown which was truly princess-worthy! The program started with Evelyn's grand entrance inside a carriage. And then, together with her entourage, they performed their Waltz dance. The "banda" arrived soon after, and the guests danced the night away. At the photo booth, since a lot of the guests were present at our photo booth the previous weekend, and have had some practice- they've become pros! We surely had a huge crowd drop by, and everyone had a great time! It has been a busy July at Sweet Events Bay Area! We were in Fremont at the Holy Spirit Parish Center for the 15th birthday celebration of Emily. It was a pastel blue and silver affair. Emily wore a lovely turtleneck wide ball gown, her long hair in a tight updo, finished with a silver tiara and long silver strand earrings. Just the perfect look for a princess! The highlights of the night included the celebrant's dance along with her princely escorts; a recreation from "Cinderella" where Emily's parents fitted the celebrant with "glass slipper"- shoes while she was seated on a silver royal chair -a special mark of Emily's passage to her coming of age; the performance of the latin band; and the photo booth! As always, the photo booth was busy with a steady stream of guests. Guests told us that it was an awesome experience, and that they loved their photos! |
