Where Were You During Game 5 of the NBA Series Final? We were at a Graduation Party in Burlingame!6/21/2015 Happy Father's day to all dads!
Where were you Sunday last week during the NBA Finals Game 5: Warriors vs. Cavaliers? We were at a private home in Burlingame for a graduation party. Everybody's spirits were high with the graduate celebrating with her family and friends, and the Warriors' game going-on as guests watched excitedly looking for another win to break the series 2-2 tie. Of course, the guests erupted in cheer as the Warriors won the night. What a great day it was- celebrating a graduate student's milestone, a fun photo booth, and a Warriors win! Last Friday, Bay Area residents celebrated the Warriors winning Game 6 of the NBA Finals 105-97 over the Cleveland Cavaliers to capture their first championship in 40 years. Congratulations Warriors!

On Sunday, June 21st we are celebrating Father's Day. It is a wonderful time to show our love for the fathers in our lives- your own, your kids', your father-in-law, and even those who have served as our father-figures. Life moves pretty fast, and time after it is gone, can't be recovered. This is why we should take every opportunity to stop, and show our appreciation for the people we love. Here is a collection of printable art that you can give as gifts or to use as decoration to celebrate Father's day. Just choose what you like and click on the file to download, you may print these at home if you have a colored printer, or take it to your local printing service provider to print. It is best to print on heavy cardstock, or photo paper but, you may also use regular printing paper. Please scroll down for additional instructions for each printable art.
For the card, and the gift tag and cake topper, use heavy card stock paper for best results, and cut-out. You may use the card however you wish- write a dedication on it or frame it. For the cupcake toppers, glue it to a lollipop or popsicle stick, and use to decorate cupcakes. You may also use these as gift tags. Simply punch a hole on top, and add a ribboon or string to hang. For the flags, use regular printing paper. Cut to size, fold in half and attach to decorative straws for drinks.
What a picturesque place Pageo Lavender Farm is. Walking into here was like being transported to a farmhouse in Provence, southeastern France. With the old silo nestled by a fresh field of lavender, its charming, modified barns with bush overhangs, lush green trees and landscaping, and rustic decor, it is just the perfect setting for an intimate gathering, a romantic proposal, or an unforgettable wedding in the valley...simply stunning! This was where we set-up a studio-type photo booth for Jaqi and Marcela's wedding last Sunday. We, from Sweet Events, thought that it was insightful and creative of our clients to choose the old silo as the shoot location because of its significant connection to the lavender farm. The silo's warmly decorated interior, the vintage furniture pieces and props (arranged by the wonderful people at Pageo) were reminiscent of a simpler and less complex past. Lighting was critical in this situation as the clients wanted us to showcase the details of the silo's interior, and at the same time, create the highlight and contrast that would define the mood of the scene. With careful planning of lighting positions, ratio, and test shots, we were able to create the exposure and contrast we wanted. Can you imagine how much fun it was? Guests got really into the photo shoots as they planned their blocking, creative poses facial expressions, and deciding whether or not to use props. Some guests at Pageo commented that this set-up felt and looked like a "magazine-style" shoot. Then, they burst into laughter as they received their prints after each session. Isn't this such a worthy keepsake for your guests? What is a studio-type photo booth? It is simply a photo shoot with a studio-setting at your chosen event location usually using themed furniture pieces to create the mood, or making the most of the location's architecture as background. We, then, set-up our equipment to capture the photos of your guests as they pose within this set. The guests are handed their prints after each photo session, and the clients are given a copy of all the digital images captured at the shoot. If you would like to work with us for a studio-type photo booth, just contact us at angel-events@comcast.net. For more details about Pageo Lavender Farm's products and services, click here.
