  Understated...clean lines...careful craftmanship...wherever you look there is something that delights the senses" -Maximilian Missoni, Volvo Vice President, Exterior Design on the new Volvo Luxury SUV XC60. Choice adjectives uttered by Mr. Missoni, Volvo Vice President for Exterior Design. For us at Sweet Events Bay Area, these words served as our guide in creating Volvo's dessert bar. Marked by natural wood and metal materials, simple lines, and gourmet versions of well-loved classic dessert treats such as Twinkies, DingDongs, Berry Pies, and Chocolate Chip Cookies, the charming dessert table exuded elements of warmth, and a sense of familiarity. Inspired by the Scandinavian design, the table had a minimalist aesthetic that was high in function, low on fuss, and a delight to the senses from all the yummy goodness! This was one of our special projects too because we not only created the dessert bar for Volvo, but also organized the food and drinks which consisted of a variety of quick bites, and the barista bar service for this event. The presence of the barista bar was a great addition. Aren't desserts and coffee a great pairing combination? Guests enjoyed an open bar of macchiato, cappuccino, espresso, latte, cold brew, americano and more. How awesome is that?
