 We are so excited to share with you our Versailles-themed Dessert Table which we styled for a baby shower. We found creative inspiration from the Palace of Versailles in France- the epitome of opulence, lavishness and architectural grandeur. The table was decorated with ornate tapestry, gilded medallions, masks and feathers which are reminiscent of the Masquerade Balls of Versailles. The guests enjoyed Cream puffs and Chocolate Eclairs, Sugar cookies shaped in baby items, Chocolate-dipped Strawberries, Chocolate-covered Oreos both with gold crown toppers, French Macarons, and Tiramisu shots. Isn't this such a grand dessert table?

Choice adjectives uttered by Mr. Missoni, Volvo Vice President for Exterior Design. For us at Sweet Events Bay Area, these words served as our guide in creating Volvo's dessert bar. Marked by natural wood and metal materials, simple lines, and gourmet versions of well-loved classic dessert treats such as Twinkies, DingDongs, Berry Pies, and Chocolate Chip Cookies, the charming dessert table exuded elements of warmth, and a sense of familiarity. Inspired by the Scandinavian design, the table had a minimalist aesthetic that was high in function, low on fuss, and a delight to the senses from all the yummy goodness! This was one of our special projects too because we not only created the dessert bar for Volvo, but also organized the food and drinks which consisted of a variety of quick bites, and the barista bar service for this event. The presence of the barista bar was a great addition. Aren't desserts and coffee a great pairing combination? Guests enjoyed an open bar of macchiato, cappuccino, espresso, latte, cold brew, americano and more. How awesome is that? Their theme was Winter Wonderland, a popular theme for us in 2018. We were tasked to create two candy bars. Since this event was a more formal affair, we took inspiration from the snow white landscape of winter but kept the bars simple, chic, and sophisticated. This year's holiday party was held at the prestigious Bentley Reserve, the former San Francisco Federal Reserve and prominent landmark of the Financial District. These are from our Winter Wonderland-themed candy bar for Autodesk. In styling this table, we wanted to recreate the snow shrouded forest one would experience in the back country during the dead of winter. It was so much fun!             Hello all!   This is the yellow and gray dessert buffet table we set up at the St. Joseph's Basilica Hall in Alameda last weekend. The principal purpose for this buffet table was truly unique. It was a special tribute by the family for a beloved member, Herb, who passed away. The dessert table celebrated Herb's life by highlighting his achievements in service and those he enjoyed doing through the custom-made labels and signage we positioned around the table. As a result, it united guests in their heartfelt appreciation for Herb. Even for us at Sweet Events Bay Area, it was a first of it's kind. Patriotic Trail Mix (Serves 10-12) Ingredients: 3 cups Corn Chex 15 Licorice, cut up in quarters 1 cup red, white and blue M&Ms 1 cup mini marshmallows 4 cubes vanilla candy coating Directions: 1) Place Corn Chex in a large bowl. 2) Melt candy coating in a small pot. Stir constantly and melt until smooth. Pour onto Corn Chex and mix until cereal is all coated. Pour onto wax paper and spread out. Let set. 3) Once cereal is set, add other candy pieces and mix well. It's easy, impressive, and will satisfy her sweet cravings. Take it from the 5-star reviews from those who have tried this recipe! Then, attach the pretty tag shared by thecraftedsparrow.com Yogurt Parfait Recipe Ingredients One 17 1/2-ounce container plain Greek yogurt 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup brown sugar Assorted berries (or other fruit of your choice) Directions First, pour the yogurt into a bowl. Then add the cream and vanilla. With a whisk, carefully stir until combined. It should be nice and thick. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top of the yogurt mixture. Do not stir the mixture. Cover the bowl with foil or plastic wrap and tightly seal the edges. Place in the refrigerator for at least 20 to 30 minutes. When you are ready to serve, place a small handful of berries (or other fruit) into a bowl or cup. Without stirring the mixture, spoon the yogurt over the berries.
